UK-based Dukes Education has added International School Westpfalz (ISW) in Germany to its rapidly-expanding schools group.

The school is located in Landstuhl, in the West Palatinate region, near to Kaiserslautern and the Ramstein American air base, the largest US air base outside of the States.

ISW is an international school for students aged 4 to 18, serving a community of over 240 students from more than 34 nationalities.

Founded in 2017, the school now offers the International Cambridge curriculum from Early Years through to A-levels, alongside a focus on developing “future-ready learners”, Dukes said.

This latest addition further expands Dukes Education’s expanding international presence across Europe and beyond, including schools in the UK, Canada, Croatia, Czechia, Greece, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Switzerland.

Founder and chairman of Dukes Education, Aatif Hassan, said: “ISW is an exceptional school with a strong reputation for academic excellence and student wellbeing.

“Its commitment to developing confident, globally minded young people aligns closely with the values at the heart of Dukes Education. We are thrilled to welcome ISW to the Dukes family as our first school in Germany and look forward to supporting its continued success and growth.”

Jodi Fillingame, head of school at ISW, said: “Joining Dukes Education is a meaningful step forward for our school and our community. At ISW, we believe that academic excellence must be grounded in wellbeing, kindness, and a deep sense of belonging. Through our guiding pillars of Dare, Do, Dream, we empower students to take risks, act with purpose, and imagine the future they want to shape.

“This partnership strengthens our ability to nurture confident, compassionate young people equipped with the skills, adaptability, and global perspective needed for the future. We are excited to collaborate, learn, and contribute as part of a network that shares our commitment to high-quality, values-driven education.”

Founded in 2015, Dukes Education now has 65 education brands and over 80 settings, across 13 countries, supporting more than 24,000 pupils and nearly 5,000 staff.
